SCHOOL CLOSURE FOR REMAINDER OF 2019-2020 YEAR

    https://www.governor.wa.gov/news-media/inslee-extends-school-closures-rest-2019-20-school-year

    March 13, 2020
    Dear Wellpinit Families and Community,
Following Governor Inslee’s emergency declaration this afternoon, all Wellpinit
schools will be closed for students starting Tuesday, March 17 th through at least
April 24 th , 2020 in an effort to aggressively slow the spread of COVID-19. All
schools will be open Monday March 16 th as a transition day to adjust to the
closure. We respect and support any family who chooses to keep their child
    home on Monday.
The health and safety of our community, from young children to elders, is
important to us and we understand the prolonged closure will impact every
aspect of our school, our families, and our community. Please know, as we get
information, we will keep you informed and will continue to be in regular contact
via our school website, facebook page and all call system.
We are working to determine how we can best attend to the nutritional needs of
students; to child care needs; and whether we will be able to provide any
continued educational opportunities during the closure.

    John M. Adkins
    Superintendent
