• Hello everyone and welcome to the 2017-2018 school year!

As I enter my 4th year as principal, 10th year working in Wellpinit, I can’t help but be excited about everything that is going on and all of the possibilities ahead of us.

This year we are excited to have a 1 to 1 ratio of technology (Chromebooks) in every one of our students hands.  These devices will help our students navigate through their educational journey in todays world I the fastest and safest way.  Most importantly, they provide students access to our Summit Learning Platform and Curriculum.  Last year we used this platform and the Middle School and saw amazing results.  We are excited to see Summit Learning expanded into the High School and the great growth our students will get from it.

As a school community we will continue to focus on safety, academics, and citizenship.  We want our students to be well rounded and as educated as possible when their time here is done.  This cannot be done in a day and by one person alone.  It takes a community to raise a student from birth through High School and our partnerships with parents, community members, and the Tribe are all so valuable.  We hope to continue to build on our partnerships to give students experiences that will help them learn and think about what they want to do after High School.

Finally, I want to invite you to come in and see us at any time during the 2016-2017 school year.  We love to show off what is going on in our building and we hope that you can be a part of it.  If you ever feel like volunteering in a classroom, at lunch, or anywhere else, please don’t hesitate to contact us.  We want you to see the great things going on in the classrooms, experience the friendly and family environment, and be a part of our amazing journey we are on.

I’d like to thank you for allowing us to work with your student every day and look forward to a very busy and eventful school year.  Please do not hesitate to call or come in with any questions or concerns.  Let’s get this school year started!
